FN Smart Signal is an automated signal indicator built on Smart Money Concept methodology. Instead of tracking one or two SMC elements in isolation, it combines market structure, liquidity, Fair Value Gaps, Order Blocks, and price zone analysis across multiple timeframes into a single confluence score, then converts that score into an actionable BUY/SELL signal with pre-calculated trade levels. It's designed to be repaint-resistant — it calculates on closed candles — and to manage exposure by only tracking one open trade idea per direction at a time.
At the core of FN Smart Signal is a market structure engine that identifies Major (primary) and Minor (secondary) swing points using an alternating zigzag method — it never connects two highs or two lows in a row, which keeps the structure reading clean. From there, it flags Break of Structure (BOS) and Change of Character (CHoCH) events, with an optional "one break per swing level" setting to stop the indicator from spamming BOS labels during a strong trend.
It also marks Inside/Outside Bars and can extend the currently-forming swing leg in real time, so you can see structure develop candle by candle instead of only after a swing is fully confirmed.

FN Smart Signal scans for Fair Value Gaps and Order Blocks across two independent source timeframes that are separate from your chart's own timeframe (M15 and H1 by default) — so you get higher-timeframe context without having to manually flip charts. Each zone is tagged with the timeframe it came from, and only zones that are still valid and aligned with current structure are displayed, which keeps the chart from getting cluttered with stale zones.
Mitigation is calculated using one of three methods: Wick Fill, Full Close Fill, or 50% Fill, and the indicator filters out zones that are too small relative to ATR, so you're not getting signals off insignificant price gaps.
The indicator marks liquidity sweeps — where price breaks a prior high or low and then closes back inside the range — and divides the current swing range into discount and premium halves. This is the same discount/premium framework institutional-style traders use to time entries: buying interest in the discount half, selling interest in the premium half, all relative to the currently active swing.

The Signal System: How Confluence Becomes a Signal#

FN Smart Signal scores confluence from 0 to 100 across every factor above — structure, breaks, sweeps, displacement, FVG, Order Blocks, discount/premium positioning, price action, Elliott Wave context, and higher-timeframe (HTF) confirmation, which is automatically derived from your chart's current timeframe.
You choose between two confirmation modes:
Standard — a balanced confluence threshold, generating more signals with moderate filtering.
Strict — a higher threshold that also requires confirmed structure and liquidity/zone interaction before a signal fires, meaning fewer signals but a higher confluence bar for each one.
There's also a configurable cooldown period between two signals in the same direction, which prevents the indicator from firing repeated same-direction signals in quick succession.
Once a signal fires, FN Smart Signal automatically calculates Entry, Stop Loss, and three Take Profit levels. You can choose between two TP modes:
Fixed Points — a fixed distance for each target (default 5/10/15 points).
R-Multiple — targets set as a multiple of the initial risk.
The feature most traders ask about is trade management: FN Smart Signal tracks one trade at a time per direction. Once it signals a trade, it won't issue another same-direction signal until that trade hits TP3, hits Stop Loss, or an opposite-direction signal reverses it.
