Bid
Also known as: Bid Price
The bid is one side of a two-sided quote. It is the highest price a buyer is currently willing to pay, and consequently the price at which you can sell. The bid is always lower than the ask; the gap between them is the spread.
In a EURUSD quote of 1.0850 / 1.0851, the bid is 1.0850. Selling 1 lot at market fills at the bid.
